The company's designs leverage expertise in designing robots and robotics systems for work in challenging environments. Learn more how Honeybee used Ultimaker desktop 3D printers to boost productivity.

Since 1983, Honeybee has completed over 300 projects for NASA, the US Department of Defense, academia, industry and artists.

Honeybee was founded in 1983 by Steve Gorevan and Chris Chapman (pictured left) as a systems integrator using off-the-shelf robots. Our first offices were above a piano shop on the Lower East Side of New York City. Our early work included robotic arms, robot end-effectors, and smart task-oriented electromechanical systems for companies including IBM, Allied Signal, The Salk Institute, Merck, 3M, and Con Edison. We quickly gained a reputation for our innovative design skills and creative problem solving.
